Held annually on the second Thursday in September, Unity's World Day of Prayer unites Unity and New Thought partner communities for a 24-hour period of prayer practice around the world. In prayer, we dissolve our personal borders as we realise God within us, around us - an active source of life, love, and wisdom.
|
This year’s theme, Love Is Alive, comes to life through the affirmation:
Love leads me. Faith steadies me. Prayer carries me forward.
At Silent Unity UK headquarters, here at Taplow in Buckinghamshire, we hold our 12-hour prayer vigil, from 9am - 9pm. When you submit prayer names, (see below) they will be held in our prayer folder, included in prayer until the World Day of Prayer, when the names will be quietly read out loud by our prayer team throughout the day and then held in prayer for another 30 days.
You can begin preparing your heart and intentions for World Day of Prayer 2026 today:
Be part of our UK 12-hour vigil and let us create and experience a day which blesses us and our world.

How to take part:
Complete the form below, sharing names you would like Silent Unity to hold in prayer with you, and sharing the times you will be connecting with us in prayer. Here at our Silent Unity UK headquarters, we will hold the high watch of prayer from 9am-9pm, with an elevated mind and an open heart. Together let us support each other in prayer by recognising the Presence of God here within us all. We will host the day online using Zoom to enable you to connect with us in person from wherever you are in the world. World Day of Prayer gives us an opportunity to come together in celebration of our oneness with God, each other and our world. Through prayer we foster peace and wholeness in our community, our individual lives and our planet.
