Unity was founded on Myrtle Fillmore’s unwavering belief in the power of prayer. She set up a prayer ministry almost immediately after she and her husband Charles Fillmore created Unity in 1889. She prayed with people in person, answered their prayer letters and began to pray by telephone in 1907. This ministry, now known as Silent Unity, quickly began to offer prayer around the clock in the US, and prayer support around the world.
Today, here at Silent Unity UK headquarters, prayer continues to be the centre of our ministry.
