ONLINE UNITY RETREAT - 18th-19th JULY
We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to join a recently created online retreat.
This is due to unforeseen circumstances at our recent May Briery Centre Retreat (the failure of the water supply at the Centre) our weekend had to be cancelled at the last minute. But we prayed for Divine Order! We needed to find an alternative - especially for those disappointed to lose this weekend. And the alternative we have come up with is an online retreat, which is open to everyone.
Our theme is Expect a Miracle. Miracles come in all sorts of ways, and not often how we expect. But come they do. Do you expect miracles in your life? It is an exciting way to live, as it opens us to expect more, give more and receive more. So much of this is built on faith and belief.
In Eric Butterworth’s book ‘Spiritual Economics’ he says “Faith is expectancy. You do not receive what you want; you do not receive what you pray for, not even what you say you have faith in. You will always receive what you actually expect.”
On this retreat, we will examine what this means and also look at Jesus’ miracles in the New Testament. We will discuss what a miracle is and we will work together to find ways to ‘expect miracles’ and improve our life experience.
What miracles do you want in your life? Come and join with us on this exciting adventure!!
Let us make the most of this opportunity we have to create and experience a weekend retreat in your own home!

It was absolutely delightful to meet you all last week. Everyone was wonderfully loving and kind to us and it has taken us until today to come down from the experience to get on with everyday life but with a much better understanding of who God is and as also who we are.
We learnt so much from you all and enjoyed the venue, the room, the food and fellowship. It was a very special time for us both".
AW and PW, North Yorkshire, summer retreat participants
“Thank you for a wonderful and blessed weekend It was lovely meeting friends and being in such caring company. It was a time of coming apart for me to enjoy the beauty, stillness ,the nurturing, having such ‘graced moments’ of sharing and laughter in such beautiful surroundings. I looked forward to these times with Silent Unity to recharge the batteries and I came away feeling truly uplifted.”

“Thank you for what was a life enhancing weekend. I can only repeat that it (the recent Silent Retreat) was so special, so magical that there simply are not the words to wrap around the myriad feelings, senses and emotions I experienced and with such a depth of new awareness and understanding.”

"Going away on retreat allows us to get away from the outside world and all that distracts us. A place where we can be willing to open to the idea of God as creative energy and movement: a flow of limitless potential, moving in and through us and all of life, here and now. As we connect with each other in this beautiful, radiant energy, we meet each other as love and we shine." Rev. Kimerie Mapletoft, Director of Silent Unity UK and Daily Word UK |
