Unity UK is the headquarters of Silent Unity UK , Unity’s international prayer ministry, and Daily Word in the UK, operating at offices near Taplow in Buckinghamshire.
Silent Unity is our prayer ministry, with volunteers taking prayer calls throughout the week and answering prayer requests by letter and email. Every prayer request is held in sacred, loving and confidential prayer for 30 days. Read more and request prayer here. |
Daily Word is Silent Unity’s bimonthly inspirational magazine, read by hundreds of thousands of people around the world. We publish the UK edition of the magazine which includes an inspirational reading, affirmation and bible verse for each day, as well as articles and poems. About the Unity Movement
|
Unity as a teaching and practice is part of the New Thought Movement. Through study groups and prayer meetings first held in people’s homes, to the centres found today, we have been active in the UK for over 100 years. We seek to apply the teachings of Jesus, and see him as our guide and example of what is possible for us all. We serve those who seek inspiration and prayer support as well as those who use Unity teachings as their primary path of spiritual growth.

1. God is the One and Only Source or Energy that underlies and exists within all creation. God is the perfect expression of love and wisdom expressing through us.
2. We are of God; spiritual beings having human experiences. Therefore, all people are inherently good and capable of connecting with this good. 3. Our thoughts and feelings determine how we experience our lives. One with God as creative power, we can create our reality anew. 4. Through affirmative prayer and meditation, we align our heart-mind with God as good within us. 5. Through our thoughts, words, actions and practices, we live the Truth we know. |
Unity works to help people live more abundant and meaningful lives by discovering and living their spiritual purpose and potential. Our central belief is that prayer works. For us it is about realising a stronger connection to God as the power within everyone. We see Jesus as our guide – a shining example of what is possible for all of us.
At the same time, Unity honours all paths to God. It offers a positive spiritual journey, welcoming everyone who is seeking answers and a spiritual home. Unity offers support, inspiration and education. We are open to people of all faiths, as well as those with no affiliation. All are welcome and celebrated at Unity |

Our History
|
Doreen’s name will be familiar to many. Director of Silent Unity UK for many years, Doreen also worked tirelessly with her husband Rev. David Davenport to build the Unity fellowship throughout the UK through the seventies, eighties and nineties.
