Just to thank you for my prayer time with you last Thursday and then by Saturday just two days later you sent me a lovely letter and comforting words as well as a dear booklet The Daily Word for July and August and most interesting it is to read which I did on my travels by train today.
Blessings to you all and thank you again from Margaret

History of Prayer in Unity
Unity was founded on the power of healing prayer inspired by the experience of our co-founder Myrtle Fillmore in America, in the 1880’s.
Faced with profound personal challenges, Myrtle affirmed life, wholeness, and strength through prayer, curing herself of a life-threatening illness, as she repeated to herself the words: “I am a child of God and I do not inherit sickness”. Since then, the prayer ministry that is known as Silent Unity has grown and spread around the world.
Unity’s ministry grew up in the UK in the 1920’s, first through local groups, then later through Silent Unity, which was officially set up in 1977. We continue to support people all around the UK and around the world through the power of affirmative prayer.
