For many years Unity's message was often carried forward by home groups; like-minded people meeting regularly in somebody's home to read Unity literature, such as the Daily Word, or discuss a Unity book, or meeting for prayer and meditation. Typically, they would be held in somebody’s home, although sometimes premises would be rented to would meet regularly, normally once a month.
These types of supportive small group proved to be one of the most powerful ways for people to feel that they belonged to Unity and to learn and grow with each other, exploring and experiencing what Unity has to offer.
