The most important gift we can give ourselves is to make space for God, for it is out of this infinite, indefinable point of being that all our good flows forth.
It seems like such an obvious thought, but how often do we let the world get in the way of taking time for God?
Throughout this retreat our focus will be simply on God through the practical experience of prayer and meditation, words and silence.
This weekend will be less about talking and more about being. We will share different meditation and prayer techniques used within Unity, to help us not just make space for God, but to more deeply experience God.
Doing this as a group in a retreat environment creates a stronger vortex of energy which lifts and connects us all.
Our retreat venue is steeped in history. Waverley Abbey House is a charming Grade II listed Georgian mansion located near Farnham, in the midst of the tranquil scenery of Surrey. With its historic character, extensive grounds and excellent facilities, Waverley Abbey House is an ideal venue to hold our retreat. PLEASE NOTE: There are no lift facilities.
The weekend begins with supper on Thursday evening, and concludes with lunch on Saturday.
