This advanced metaphysics course is based on the universal, spiritual principles that support the expression of healing, health and wholeness in students minds, bodies and affairs. Unity began with a “spiritual healing” that was mediated through thoughts and feelings, AND application of principles. Participants will be working with Myrtle and Charles Fillmore’s interpretation of healing and wholeness and how they apply to today’s world. The focus will mainly be on Myrtle Fillmore since she is the foundation for Unity as a healing movement. Such principles will be presented to support students in developing a practical understanding as heart-centred metaphysicians.
Course Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Analyse, interpret and explain the essential elements of Charles and Myrtle Fillmore’s theology while developing a personal understanding of healing, wholeness, curing and health
- Examine and use current language to express concepts of healing and wholeness
- Explain the significance of prayer, the Silence and meditation in relationship to healing and wholeness.
