How often we hear people say – I am only human. Or others making their humanity less than their spirituality, on an endless quest to perfection.
This quote from Walter Starcke, found in the Unity book, “New Thought for a New Millennium”, reminds us that we are here to be the vehicle of Divine expression through
Instead of trying to overcome our humanity; trying to change ourselves into something we think we are not, let us love and accept who we are right now, warts and all.
As we accept our imperfections, we are not saying we will stay this way. When we honour our humanity, we then find greater ways to express our divinity. I love and accept myself just the way I am, and I am stronger, healthier, happier, more abundant, day by day.
God does not judge us – God is love. Let us love ourselves as God does – just the way we are.
