One People, One World

By June 30, 2016 Thought for the week, unity

We are part of this world and all that is in it.

We may sometimes like to shut ourselves away from the activities of the world and focus  on the good we wish to see from our perspective; for our own particular needs.

Yet with the result of the UK referendum, it seems to me that we really cannot do this. Whatever our individual vote, now is the time to pull together as one people in one United Kingdom, on one planet.

None of us live and work in isolation – we are part of the whole. And God as Presence is here, in each and every one of us.

Let us continue in every moment to look for, see and respond to, the Presence in us all. From the deeper living and knowing of our connection with each other and God, in every change there is not only a new beginning, but the opportunity to live from the knowing of our oneness.

Let us respond and live with this in our minds and hearts. Then every event, every moment and every person, is seen from the perspective of wholeness. From here, good for all people everywhere can and will unfold.

In Silent Unity we hold to the knowing of our inner peace, poise, wisdom and good judgement as we and all leaders take the next steps in our spiritual and human journey. This is taking a positive and active role to take in life. We do this now with peace, joy and love.

“You are the salt of the earth … You are the light of the world.” Matthew 5:13,14
