I Surrender

“I surrender into the allness that I AM.

Once we can begin to grasp the idea that we are divine beings having human experiences, it becomes easier to accept that we are not our ego’s, our bodies or our personality. We are so much more than we think we are.

One way, a really profound way, to come to know this, is to surrender all that we are not (our thoughts and feelings of defense, attack and pain). Effortlessly we then become that which we are.

It is all too easy to think we have to strive and put effort into becoming our True, Divine Self. Yet really it is more a case of allowing.

When we notice our small-self, our egoic thoughts and feelings taking over, we can stop, breathe, consciously relax our bodies, and release them. This is allowing the painful identity to dissolve and is a very real way of experiencing ‘let go and let God.’ As we let go of who we think we are, who we really are arises in our awareness.

This is a daily practice. As Michael Singer, in his article in the January/February 2019 Unity Magazine writes, we are to relax, release and repeat!

The more we practice this, the more our True Self arises in our awareness. And the more we experience life as easy, fun and creative.

Let God be God as you.

In this video Rev. Kimerie talks about surrender and release.
