Much is written about the power of our minds and the power of our hearts. In Unity we talk a lot about affirmations and using our words in an affirmative, positive way.

However, it is the feeling we give to this that brings authority, or power. Charles Fillmore, Unity co-founder, talked about gratitude and love being like mighty magnets, drawing our good to us. These are feelings, not thoughts, and they come from the heart.

What is also important to know is that we store our feelings of hurt, guilt, shame, fear, etc in our hearts also. The mind cannot over-ride these feelings. Indeed, these feelings are more powerful than any words, however affirmative they may be.

The good news is, that when we turn to face our feelings with love and compassion, dive into them and allow ourselves the gift of moving through them to the other side, without thoughts or thinking, we dive into our deeper truth of Love and Grace. The old feelings dissolve, replaced with an experience of Divine Love that is limitless, joyous and completely unconditional. This is the power of God as love that Jesus spoke of, that is here for us always.

So, give yourself the gift of diving into your heart energy, with Grace holding you, keeping you safe and revealing the You you came here to be. Now, you can truly speak from the heart.
