To set a goal or not set a goal - that is a question

Many people, at the beginning of the new year, set themselves goals or targets to achieve. Is this something you do? And have you felt the joy of completion? Take a moment to reflect on this for a moment …

My experience is that setting goals, with a deadline of achievement, does not always work. Several times in 2025 I set goals and timelines. Yet, despite my best efforts, they did not work out.

Now, as I move into 2026, I have set my intention simply to know and affirm myself as Love: to act as Love, to live as Love, as much as I can. I recognise that I want to reside in the radiant flow that is Divine Order, which for me, means letting go of deadlines and trusting more deeply that Source knows what is needed. More importantly, that Source is actively present to enable and bless all involved. There is work for me to do, of course. And, it is God-led, not Kimerie enforced.

Of course, you may have found something else to be true for you – setting goals and timelines may be positive for you. They have their place. I do believe in one day at a time. Each day, as I awake, I consciously chose to put God first without directing how that will happen. For someone who likes to be in control, this is quite a statement.

This year I chose to be open, as best I can, to see, know and feel God-Source more deeply as love and wisdom, and let God-light lead the way.

However your New Year unfolds, may it be God-led, God-alive and God-loved. Happy New Year.
