Unity's gift to us

I had a lovely conversation with a prayer volunteer recently, who said how Unity’s message, that God is with and within us always; that we can never be separate from God and are forever one within God, has deeply supported and uplifted her on her life journey.

For many, it is a life-changing concept. For it absolutely changes us. To know that God is very present, as love, wisdom, goodness, joy, peace, etc., enables us to step forward in faith. To stretch boundaries, be more creative, to be loving and giving.

To feel the inner presence so that we know we are never alone; to practice the art of being with God, as infinite love and wisdom, in silence and stillness, changes us. We find we can give and we are open to receive.

For me, this is one of the core teachings of Jesus. His statement, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30) is one I turn to again and again. To sit in this energy and make it my own; to encourage others to do the same, fills me with so much joy and sense of fulfilment, I have been changed. My heart soars, my spirit lifts, my lips smile with joy.

Unity’s invitation to you is to make this real for you. And my invitation is for you to share any stories which reflect how this message has supported and changed you.

Bless you on your journey.
