Unity. Union. Unify. All rooted in the Latin Unio meaning ONENESS I often get overwhelmed, feeling as if I am being pulled in a million different directions. Overstimulated by an unending to do list and not rooted at all in my “oneness”. This is where I stop. I breathe. I embrace the silence. I realise I need to tend my own wounds before I can give to others. I strengthen my connection with spirit, to listen for the voice of what I need. I find my oneness by giving attention to all the parts of me. I honour my masculine traits, such as reasoning, intellect, action and marry them with my Divine feminine, intuition, emotion, healing. Finding a balance that allows all aspects of myself to shine in harmony. I take time to nourish my inner child, I take her to feed the ducks and give her a safe space if she needs to cry. I ensure my introverted self is provided with abundant jigsaw puzzles and given a break from the rat race. I spend time in meditation and prayer to focus on my spiritual self. Child. Mother. Carer. Warrior. Administrator. Creative. I can unify all these things. My strength, my energy, my oneness. It all comes through when I focus on myself with love.
“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:14 Amen. Awomen. Stefanie Bridges Unity Administrator Would you like to begin your week with an inspiring email?Click here to sign up for our Thought for the Week email list
