Sea, sand and healing

I have been exploring gentle exercises to connect more deeply with the parts of me that still need to heal.

Finding myself on the Dorset coast, I walked the shores looking for a stone that represented my pain, my trauma, my darkest depths.
Over the weekend I blessed this stone, I took it out for lunch, I sent love to it ~ holding it over my heart. I placed it in places with wonderful vistas and carried it purposefully like a precious relic  Sending all those dark parts of me love and acceptance.

Finally at the end of the trip I took it back to the beach, gently placing it beneath the water, freely and fully releasing that which no longer serves me.

Water is an easy visual aid to bring awareness to the fluid flowing energy that is within us and all around us. The ebb and flow reminds me that rest and renewal are just as important as productivity and hard work.

Whatever you feel today. Rest or play. Light or heavy. You are held. You are supported by an energy which is unending and always available.

What parts of yourself need attention today? And how could you approach your healing with creativity, personalised to you?
