This statement – right where I am is where I am supposed to be - is one that has supported me for many years.
Yet how often we find ourselves resisting our lives and arguing with what is happening. How pointless is that! I am right where I am supposed to be. And God within, through and as me, supports and guides me always. I was where I was supposed to be, when Paul and I showed up at Unity back in 2002, and I was offered a job. I was right where I needed to be each time opportunities opened up in Unity for me to serve and grow in this amazing work. Now, as I prepare to retire from my role as Director of Silent Unity and Daily Word UK, I know I am right where I need to be. Not only that, but all of you are right where you need to be, are supposed to be, as well. Spirit forever nudges us forward, to grow and expand into our beautiful, radiant, creative selves, whom we came here to be. If I resist my life, I am blocking that flow. But when I know that everything is as it is supposed to be right now, the next right and glorious step opens in front of me. I will admit to having mixed feelings about leaving this role as it has been my work, my life and my identity for over 20 years. AND, I also know, I am not my job or this role. I am, you are, we are, an expression of the divine, moving into our right next place, including Wally as he moves into his. Charles and Myrtle Fillmore both wrote and spoke of the qualities of love and gratitude as being mighty magnets for good in our lives. That they open us to know God as our limitless love, joy, life, abundance, creativity and freedom: To be the next best version of ourselves, on this amazing planet. I feel such love and gratitude for all of you, my Unity family. And know that as we all take our next steps forward, that each one of us are in the right and perfect place for us, ready and willing to be the voice and energy of God on earth. God is present, active and alive in each one of us. I celebrate this with you each day. And I am so grateful for all we have done, and may yet do, together.
