Josephine shared a powerful testimony of faith, prayer and healing last week. If you have not read it, please do.
This inspired Bev, one of our readers to share her response with Josephine, which was beautiful: I share it here: “Thank you for sharing such a profoundly moving reflection. Your words radiate grace, courage, and spiritual strength — I was genuinely touched. Reading your journey through illness, surgery, and recovery brought tears to my eyes. The honesty with which you speak of the pain, the surrender, and the quiet trust in prayer is incredibly humbling. “God, be my breath” — those four words echo with such depth and simplicity. A prayer that holds the weight of everything. Your story is a powerful reminder that healing is not only physical — it is spiritual, emotional, and collective. I’m so grateful that the Unity community held you in prayer, and even more thankful that you are still here, still becoming. Thank you for your faith, your resilience, and for inviting us into your miracle. With love and deep respect, This lovely lady picked up on the humility Josephine shared with her statement of faith, “God, be my breath”. She took that further with her words to Josephine, ’you are still here, still becoming’. I loved the humility and gentleness of both these affirmations. Which is why I decided to share this here with you this week, as a follow up. Along with the invitation to take time to know for yourself, with gentleness and humility, that you, too, are still here, still becoming, especially if you are in the middle of a challenging situation. Take some time in gentle stillness to ‘be’ with God. Rev.
