Afterwards I pondered about it, and I ended up telling myself, “okay, but I have to let my seeds grow at their own pace”, or my ideas and thoughts will all get into a bit of a jumble…..which of course is not the aim.
As is usual for me I came back to nature as a good example – planting, growing and harvesting. Then thinking about that statement, I came up with – “Well that’s okay in nature, but I know I have to be careful and mindful of the seeds I am planting, because the human side of me might germinate them into something I wasn’t expecting!” I realised at this point that I do not need to overthink it – which I imagine we all do sometimes when we come from our human perspective. So really, all we need to do is quietly turn within, and follow the divine guidance that our true nature will always reveal to us … and I am truly very grateful … Would you like to begin your week with an inspiring email?Click here to sign up for our Thought for the Week email list

I have a goldfish called Mr Bubbles, who developed a nasty tumour on his eye a couple of years ago. Another fish had an abdominal tumour a few years ago and I took him to the vets, but he sadly died, bless him. This time, being aware of affirmative prayer and having had such good results with the problems with my neighbours, I decided to use affirmative prayer, surrogate EFT tapping and visualisation to try and heal him instead. I really believed I could do it, but after about six months I'd seen no changes (although, I realise now, that the tumour did in fact stop growing, so that was actually a change I didn't really acknowledge at the time) and was starting to have doubts. I decided to continue anyway and have just been grateful for having him with me all this time as he's such a cute little thing.
