The Revelation, the most mysterious and misunderstood book in the Bible, brought to life by the apostle who experienced it, as a powerful affirmation of our purpose and potential as spiritual beings on this earth. A sacred drama for all time.
“It is 96AD. The elderly apostle John the Beloved, recently released from exile on the island of Patmos, where he experienced the Revelation given him by the Christ, has found refuge on a hillside above the city of Ephesus in the Roman province of Asia Minor…
A sacred journey that all may embark on, be enlightened and empowered by, and the divine destiny that awaits us as seekers after God.”
Travel back through the timeless art of theatre, of the spoken word, of sacred music and song, to an ever present place within your own soul, where the silent memory remains of the glory of your own divinity.
We are delighted and honoured to have Mark all the way from Canada at our Sunday Service to perform this special sacred drama.
About Mark Finnan:
Born in Dublin, Ireland. After attending the Stanislavsky studio in London, he performed in several Irish theatres and had his first play presented by the Dublin Theatre Festival. Interest in spirituality and holistic philosophy drew him back to the land and after moving to Canada in the late seventies he helped establish and manage a rural spiritual retreat centre in southern Ontario. In addition to writing and giving talks/workshops on spiritual matters, he has combined his past experience in theatre with his pursuits as a spiritual seeker.
This is the third in a series of sacred dramas he has penned and presented over the years, the previous two being The Messiah Mystery and The Master and the Essenes. His work has been presented and warmly received in Unity centres and churches, at the A.R.E. and at spiritual conferences in Canada and in the U.S.. A New Heaven and a New Earth was written following Mark’s visit to Patmos and the hills above Ephesus.
