Finding Peace In the midst of conflict
Experiencing peace within ourselves and our relationships is key to living happy and healthy lives. Using the book, “The I of the Storm” by Gary Simmons as our focus, we will learn not just to manage conflict, but embrace it.
The Kairos Centre,
Roehampton, SW London
4th -7th May 2018
“No one is against you!” These words introduce the theme of the book, The I of the Storm: Embracing Conflict, Creating Peace.
This can feel like a huge concept to work with, yet until we realise that the whole universe is for us, we may never experience true wholeness and peace, which is our inherent birth-right.
Using the ideas, tools and techniques shared in this book, we will learn not just to manage conflict but to embrace it. We will recognise that there is only One presence and One power, God, and that we are made in this image, able to claim our divine inheritance and know peace.
Kairos Retreat Centre is the perfect place to hold our spring retreat. It is a place of prayer, where we are beautifully looked after and nurtured with good food, accommodation and places of prayer to embrace and support us.
This weekend, which includes all meals from Friday evening through to lunch on Monday, gives us a real opportunity to know and become the peace we seek. Take this opportunity to know this for yourself, and to come away feeling reconnected with God in you as your well-being, wholeness and peace.
